I love Christmas!  It is the best time of the year.  This is a picture of me sitting under the Christmas tree at 6am.  I couldn't wait to open the presents!

We went on a holiday to Whistler and Vancouver.  On the way, we saw a bear.  There was a momma and a baby and they were eating fruit from a tree.  At first we didn't know what was going on because people were stopping on the side of the road.  It was really funny when we realized that everyone was stopping because there was a bear.

We went to Whistler.  We had fun when we went across on the Gondola on the peak to peak.

I  like gymnastics.  It  is fun.  It  is   the  best.   It   is  great .

I really like fall.  It is so colourful.  It is one of my favourite times of the year.  It is like a falling of rainbows.

This is a picture of me going to gymnastics.  I really like gymnastics and I like that I can get really flexible.   I go every Wednesday.  It is the BEST!

This is a picture of me and Maddison.  I liked Maddison because I had fun with her.

We had friends come to visit.  I liked playing with Max, Marty and Jaxon.  I really, really, really liked playing with them.  They were super to play with.  We went for a bike ride and had a picnic at the lake.  They slept in our motorhome.

We went camping.  It was really fun.  I really like to camp.  We went fishing, we rode bikes, we played at the playground.  We had so much fun.  We went for two nights.  My favorite part about camping was swimming.

I liked running club.  Last week we finished running club.  It was really fun.  I won 2nd place in one of the races.  I wish running club was still on.

We went to Kamloops and we went for a run at the wildlife park.  We were running for prostate cancer.  It was very fun and I even got my face painted.  I loved the bouncy castle.  I also loved seeing the swans, the train, the bears, the moose and the white wolves.

This is a picture of me holding my coat of arms.  It has a picture of a dolphin.  I really like to make shields.  I was a dolphin knight.

Yesterday, I lost my first tooth.  I am the first child in the family to lose a tooth.

 Yesterday, we released Lady.  I liked having Lady as a pet but I liked it the most to have her free in the wild.

Yesterday Lady hatched out of her chrysalis.  Emily came over so we could show her the butterfly.  She thought the butterfly looked pretty.  This is a picture of Lady now.  I like the way she looks here, best.

This is a picture of me and Jordan snuggling.  I really like Jordan because he looks cute and he's always trying to cheer me up.

This is a picture of me and Alex. I was sick in this picture.  I really like Alex because he is really fun and I love to play with him. Sometimes Alex is a little dramatic.  He sits beside me and orders me to sit.

This is me at the Heritage site.  I love going to the Heritage site because I love visiting the old houses.  I think it would have been hard to live back then because they had to build all that stuff by hand.  They didn't have machines.

This is me and Mikayla all dressed up as a princess and a puppy.  I really like to dress up.  We were playing, "The princess and the puppy."

This is a picture of a painted lady chrysalis.  The woman at the Horse Lake Gift Shop said we should name it Lady, so we did.  Mrs. Lomavatu gave us this caterpillar and it was teeny weeny when we got it.  Now, it is huge.  I like having it because I can't wait to see what it looks like as a butterfly.

My Story

Introduction

This story is about a girl named Jessie who wanted to buy a Stallion but there were no Stallions left at the store so she went off on an adventure to find a Stallion of her own.  I hope you enjoy this adventure and notice that there are lots of exciting parts.

Chapter 1

Once upon a time there was a girl named Jessie.  She was an adventurous girl and she loved adventures.  One day her mother said, “Jessie, why don’t you go to the stallion store and see if there are any stallions left to buy.”  So Jessie went down the lane, over the bridge and finally she arrived at the stallion store.  Then she went inside and said, “Are there any stallions left?” The man at the front counter said no.  So then she went home and told her mother, “There are no stallions left.”  Then she had an idea.  She would go out tomorrow and find her own stallion.

She started packing and her mother asked what she was doing and she told her that she was going to find a stallion for herself.

Chapter 2

 Jessie had a great sleep and the next morning she woke up early and ate breakfast and set off.  She rode her bike for miles until she came to a mountain.  She stopped her bike and put it on the side of the road and then she went up the mountain to find a perfect place for her camp.  Finally she found the perfect place for her camp and she set up.  She put up her tent, put her sleeping bag and pillow in the tent and then she put her most favorite teddy bear in there too.  Then she gathered some wood, and rocks and dug a big pit.  She gathered some firewood. 

Chapter 3

Jessie set off up the mountain to find a stallion of her own.  She heard a rustling in the bush and she saw what came out.  It was a badger and three little babies were following it.  She set off again.  She saw a bit of hair from a brown tail and she thought it was a squirrel so she walked past.  It was actually a stallion that was golden and brown and it had a golden line down its’ fur.

That night she ate some soup and she thought about what she had saw and she thought it might be a squirrel but what she really thought it was, was a stallion.

Chapter 4

The next morning she set off again.  When she saw a glimpse of a stallion with a brown tail, she walked closer to it and when she was really close it ran away.  She followed it.  When she saw what the horse was afraid of, it was a rattlesnake slithering down the side of the hill to where the girl was.  She saw a little bit of cloth and she put it onto the horses back and then she got onto the horse and held on to its mane.  She dug her heels into the horse’s sides and the girl set off with the horse.  The rattlesnake tried to catch them but it couldn’t.  She went down the side of the hill and she went back to her camp.  She gave the horse a few carrots that she had packed with her and some sugar cubes.  She started to pack up her tent.  She saw the horse carrying her favorite teddy bear and putting it into her backpack so she let the horse help.

Chapter 5

 When she had finally packed up everything she walked down the hill to where her bike was waiting.  She got a rope out of her basket and said, “This isn’t going to hurt you.  I just want to attach this rope to you so you don’t get lost.  You can ride along beside my bike.”  She picked up her bike and tied the other end of the rope to her handlebars.  She rode back the same miles she had ridden from her home.  When she got home it was midnight. She tied the horse up to the gate and then she went inside to have dinner.  She saw some bread and meat on a plate on her side of the table and she ate it.  She then went to bed.

Chapter 6

 The next morning she started to build a fence for her horse.  When she was finished she put her horse into it.  She got it a trough of water and hay and a barrel of oats. She also had a shovel to scoop the oats into another trough she had set out.  When she was finished she got her mother to see what she had done.  When her mother came out and saw all the stuff she had done, she went inside and got some sugar cubes for the horse and gave it to the horse.  The horse whinnied and rubbed its cheek on the mother’s shoulder.  It was a boy so she named the horse, Goldie and for its nickname she called it Brownie.  They lived happily ever after.

After Mikayla's soccer, we went to Tim Hortons.  It was really fun.  Auntie Misty was visiting.  I really like Auntie.

This is a picture of me and Emily.  We ran through the sprinkler and we were drying off.   I can't wait for summer when we can do this everyday!

This was Nanee's birthday with us. It was really fun. We played with Nanee and Bupee. At the party we had carrot cake and it was really yummy. I made a picture for Nanee. It was a butterfly picture.

This is me and Mommy snuggling today. I am sick. It isn't much fun to be sick. I feel like I've been eating something rotten. I hope I feel better tomorrow.

This is a picture of me painting an Easter egg at Easter. It was really fun to blow out the egg and paint it. After the egg blowing we painted the eggs. Mine were purple, pink and blue. They were my favorite colors. I added sparkles too.

This is a picture of me riding my bike. I really like riding my bike and we do it everyday. It is my favorite part of the day. The boys come with us and sometimes they even walk too.

These are pictures of me when I was a baby. I wish I was still a baby because it was fun. I liked to have Christmas when I was born. I wish I was an inventor and could make a machine that would turn me back into a baby.

Being a big sister is fun. I like being a big sister. I like to help my baby brothers, Alex and Jordan. They are a lot of fun to me. They are special. They are my baby brothers.

Being a big sister to my little sister is a lot of fun too. It is a lot of hard work too.
