ancient Greek civilization was shaped by the climate of the Mediterranean?
- Mediterranean climate was hot and made the soil brittle so the people couldn't farm and instead depended on fishing.
- The houses were made out of clay to keep the houses cool instead of hot and the clay was abundant and easy to work with. The people had lot's of grapes because of the climate and allowed the grapes to grow abundantly.

- The ancient Greeks fished from the ocean. They grew plants like grapes, barley and olives due to the climate.
